Allot of unused potential. Few features for allot pf money.

Long battery life and good range. Would like to see more features. The standard 1-5 switch works great, but the alternative modes do not work. It is quite pricey for this use. Was hoping it could be used as a pedalboard allowing switching of all functions in the yamaha thr

sometimes it doesn't connect, quite often.

as far as I figured out, most often I succeeded if I turn on THR right after this thing, if the THR was already working, turning on this thing usually doesn't connect.
if you managed to connect them, jumping around with a tambourine, or some other miracle, it works more or less, switches presets and effects.

though while switching presets, it incorrectly reads the indicators of the included effects on the preset and some lights will be in the wrong state, e.g. I have the reverb on the THR is on, but the 4th light on this thing won't light..

and yes, I have latest firmware on the THR and this thing
I am returning it..

... bereits seit kurzer Zeit nach dem Kauf meines Yamaha THR 30 II Wireless war ich auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit, während des Spiels und ohne viel Tam Tam zwischen den verschiedenen abgespeicherten Sound-Einstellungen des Amps zu wechseln. Ich bin beim Kauf des Xsonic Airstep YT Edition einer Empfehlung eines Bekannten gefolgt und wurde/ werde nicht enttäuscht!

Das Gerät ist solide verarbeitet, wie es insbesondere bei "Bodentretern" sein sollte; es sieht dementsprechend auch wertig aus. Die Bedienung ist einfach, das Gerät übersichtlich gestaltet. Einschalten, die Verbindung zum Yamaha wird automatisch aufgebaut und durch eine stetig leuchtende Diode angezeigt - das ganze dauert ca.1-2 Sekunden. Bei anderen Fußschaltern dieser Art hört man von Käufern schonmal Beschwerden über Knackgeräusche aus dem Amp während des Bedienens, das höre ich beim Xsonic Airstep definitiv nicht. Daher von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Anmerkung: Einschalten und loslegen stimmt, allerdings sollte man vorher schauen, ob 1. die Software der THR Remote App auf dem PC oder dem Tablet aktuell ist. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein (wie bei mir), könnte das Update der Firmware für den THR Amp nicht funktionieren. Wenn die App aktualisiert ist, kann man 2. nun die Firmware des THR auf den aktuellen Stand bringen und somit dem Hinweiskärtchen im Karton des Airsteps Folge leisten.
