Terrible build quality

First one i’ve received had something loose inside, could serve as expensive maracas. Sent it back, second came in and it had a loose low cut filter ring. Last thing you want is having rattling noise in printed track from resonating loose ring. Third one came in with both problems mentioned above- maracas with loose ring. Its pity, i really like mic itself, nice sound, neat design but unfortunately i’ll be sending third one back, three chances is enough to clear possibility of accidental assembly mistake.

Crusty

Compared to original. This one seems to pick up a little more room, or maybe that’s just because it’s a little brighter. As a mic it’s a really different kind of sound. Crusty is the first that comes to my mind. Really cool on amps, overhead and snare. Even though on snare I found it lacked a bit of body most of the times.

Tolles Mikro!

Eins vorweg: Ich habe keine Ahnung wie das Original klingt, bzw. damals geklungen hat.

Nicht unbedingt entscheidend, aber durchaus auch erwähnenswert ist, dass das Mikro einen wertigen Eindruck macht.

Sowohl als Snaretop- und besonders als Bottom-Mike macht dieses Mikrofon eine gute Figur. Als Snare-Top bildet es die Transienten gut ab und auch die Ghostnotes gehen nicht verloren. Es steht den üblichen Verdächtigen wie z.B. SM57 und i5 in nichts nach; rein geschmacklich gefällt es mir sogar besser.

Noch besser gefällt es mir als Snare-Bottom, da es hier nicht nur klanglich überzeugt. Durch den regelbaren Highpassfilter bekommt man Bassdrumübersprechungen, die ja gerade bei Bottom Mikes problematisch sein können, sehr schön minimiert.

Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Mikrofon.

Un micrófono igual de versátil que un 57 pero con un colorcito distinto. Tiene un realce en agudos precioso, bajo mi punto de vista. Comencé usándolo para voces y guitarras eléctricas y han acabado como par estéreo de OH en la batería.
Una opción bastante económica (teniendo en cuenta el precio de todo el material pro de audio) con resultados profesionales
