Ok ljud men dålig kvalitet

Ljudet är överraskande bra för det priset men trät har redan spruckit samt ett ben som åkte av efter 3 spelningar. Den hamnade på retur och garantiärende. Dock är Thomann väldigt bra på kundbemötande

Very nice Cajon

Given that most respectable Cajons start at about three times the price of this one, i would say this is a VERY, VERY reasonable quality instrument.

I would have liked it to be slightly more responsive, but since it is not my main instrument and i will not be playimng it for hours at a time, i'm pretty happy Thomann saved me € 200,=.

Got this Cajon mainly as an accessory percussive element while drumming, or as a very portable mini drum kit for small and intimate gigging.

Perfect for my purposes! And i'm not even done finding all the sounds it produces. It's like making love: find the sensitive spots..

Poor craftsmanship

A bit disappointing at first, because it had a very unpleasant ringing noise coming from one side. I thought about returning it, but I was planning to practice in my vacation, so I eventually decided to void the warranty and open it up. Sure enough, the string that dampens the snare was mounted too low on the side with the ringing. It was attached with a cardboard like material and staples! I mean, I knew this was a cheap cajon, but still. I refitted the string with steel braces and screws, which took quite a bit of time. With that out of the way however, MAN does this pack a punch! The snare is ripping, and the bass is almost a little too boomy - I might open it up again and glue a wood block on the back of the front plate to tone it down a little. Overall not a bad experience, since now I know how it works inside. Materials and build is otherwise good for the price, but they really cut corners with that string fixture.

Well, I heard before a cheaper ones and expensive ones.. and let me tell you something. This one is one of the best sound I heard, really strong bass. The wood is just looking good for the price didn’t expect anything expensive.. but overall - 9/10 (just because all the Thomann stickers..)
