Hear the Difference

I have been using a generic adapter (push-on rather than screw-on as this is), and the difference is audible. I knew my Audio Technica headphones were very good indeed, but using the correct screw-on adapter reminded me why I enjoyed that quality in the first place. I strongly recommend the correct Audio Technica adapter.

I can confirm that the thread size on this item is not suitable for ATHM50x, even though a review here states otherwise.

Please use Thomann Item # 165014 for ATHM50X adapter replacement with the correct thread size
